Dear Charity Fundraisers,
On behalf of the organising groups we invite you to take part in this exciting event. Last year’s event was once again a great success. Free public entry was highly popular and the Fayre consequently well attended.
If you have not done so already, please book in and pay our small charge without which we would not be able to hold the event.

LOCAL HELP FOR A LOCAL CHARITY
On the 22nd June this year Carshalton Park Rotary Club will be hosting our 4th Annual Charity Golf Day at Surrey Downs Golf Club with profits going to support the work of
St. Raphael’s Hospice.
As you are probably aware, St Raphael’s supports over 1,000 patients – and their families and friends – each year, offering physical, emotional and spiritual care at the end of life.
The funding for this vital role in our society is virtually all derived from donations and fund raising efforts such as this Golf Day.
Last year, we raised some £3,500 for St Raphael’s and we feel we could do much better this year if we could obtain more contributions from people/companies who are aware of the excellence of St Raphael’s but unsure how they can help.
Your help in respect of this event could come from either entering a team of four (cost £220 per team), sponsoring a hole with your name on a board beside the hole with a quarter page advert in the programme (combined cost £75), or by providing a prize for the raffle or auction.
Most of the profit for the benefit of St Raphael’s comes from the raffle and auction and the better the prizes, the more we are able to raise.
We and the beneficiaries of the magnificent work of the staff of St Raphael’s Hospice would therefore very much appreciate it if you could contribute in some way to help make the day a success and enable their vital work to continue.
